As of 2006 Polomolok has a total of 3,483 business operators/establishment registered at the Mayor’s Office 1179 of this are engaged in wholesaling and retailing, 260 are on Personal Services, 1,736 on Transport and Communication, 16 on Engineering and Manpower Services, 27 on Agro Industries, 39 on Financing & Lending, 61 in the Manufacturing Business, 32 active cooperatives and 130 other merchandise business activities. There are several multi-national corporations engaged in agri-based commercial production are operating in the municipality. The biggest is the Dole Philippines inc. which produces fresh and canned pineapple for export; Tropifresh and MD Agri-Ventures Inc. are engaged in asparagus production, Pioneer Hi-Bred and Agricultural Technologies produces hybrid seeds, the South Cotabato Cotton Corp. produces cotton, Monterey Farms  engaged in the cattle fattening business. The presences of these industrial firms attract people from all over the country for investments and opportunities.
